Question
Is there a diagram, bracket or recommended mounting procedure for differential remote charge converters? I have a
2777A, but cannot find the mounting information.
Answer
The 2777A is a low noise, ruggedized remote charge converter for use with differential piezoelectric transducers. This device converts the transducer's high impedance charge input to a low impedance voltage output. The unit should be mounted as near to the piezoelectric accelerometer as practical because the low impedance output from the converter to the signal conditioner is less susceptible to extrinsic noise.
A mounting flange with through-holes is integral to the 2777A. Below is a diagram of the flange dimensions and mounting hole locations.
