The Cessna Supplier Tracking and Rating Systems 2000 (STARS 2000) program measures supplier performance in four categories: quality, reliability, schedule and cost. To earn a STARS 2000 award, suppliers must achieve at least a 98% reliability rate over the previous 12 months, 99% on-time delivery, a defect rate of less than 0.1%, and long-term cost savings of 2% or more.
