Mel was appointed President of Endevco in June 2008 after serving as Director, Strategic Projects for Meggitt Sensing Systems where he was responsible for managing major projects and programs that required integration across various Meggitt operating companies to optimize success from business development through production. He brings significant experience in program and project management, technical management, logistics, earned value management, problem solving and team building to the company. Mel previously served as President of S-TEC, a leading provider of flight control systems and avionics and formerly a Meggitt group company. He has also held positions in program management, integrated logistics and quality assurance with Bell Helicopter Textron and the U.S. Marine Corps. Mel earned his M.A. in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a B.S. in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University. |
